The Best Remedy

Things have been pretty rotten here lately. The boys took off to the skate park this after noon. They have been going pretty much every afternoon. I decided to get out in the front yard to enjoy the plants in bloom and get some fresh air. It is amazing what going outside can do for your heart.
I really want to remember these sweet curls
“Ah, Sovereign Lord, you have made the heavens and the earth
by your great power and outstretched arm.
Nothing is too hard for you.
~Jeremiah 32:17
our  Jacaranda tree is in full bloom
Yep she has a real milk mustache, You couldn't pay me money to Photoshop it :)

The best remedy for those who are afraid, lonely or unhappy is to go outside, somewhere where they can be quiet, alone with the heavens, nature and God. Because only then does one feel that all is as it should be and that God wishes to see people happy, amidst the simple beauty of nature.

Your children are beautiful. I am always amazed at how refreshed I feel whenever I go outside. I remember many days as a mother to young toddlers that we would sit outside on the front steps to eat their afternoon snack. We did that no matter the weather - I just had to get out! It really helped and I'm glad you are finding that, too.

I too spent a lot of time outside yesterday! The sunshine, fresh air, and a little needed yard work was just what I had been needing to clear out the cobwebs and shake the gloom. It's amazing how much better I felt afterwards! Praying for you my wonderful friend. I wish that there was more that I could do for you to help speed the healing of your heart. <3

I can't get over those blue eyes on your little guy.... I think he gets them from his mama! Your daughter is so sweet and beautful... like her mama....

Oh, the outdoors truly is a remedy! Your yard is gorgeous and your children beautiful! What a talent you have for capturing life in photos.

I have one child whose eyes couldn't be more blue, and two whose eyes couldn't be more brown.

Isn't it amazing how God created all of these beautiful things for us to enjoy? Your post totally resonated with me. When things are tough, I can go outside along with Evan and take in all He has given for us. There is much beauty in the outdoors. Evan could literally live outside! LOL He often goes outside and talks to God. I do the same too. Your children are beautiful. Your little one reminds me of Evan. He too had those beautiful, long curly locks that I never wanted to forget. Big hugs!

Nature is the message He sends to all~when you see the beautiful flowers and green grass and beautiful baby curls how can one not see the hand of a Creator. Your children are absolutely beautiful and I love to see someone elses photo collection is as extensive as my own!
