Shayla's Room

I am linking with Kelly's Kornor to show off Shayla's room today. After 3 boys and 12 years of blue I had fun with lots of PINK :) I love vintage and babies so the room has items like my dress from when I was a baby and vintage paper dolls. It is a really small space but I am so thankful to have it. Most everything is homemade the curtains,  as well as pillows and bedding were made by my Mamaw. I made lots of frames and other decorations. It is a good thing Shayla loves pink as much as her Mommy! :) My boy's room is surfer theme and I really love it also but oh what a mess. We are working on that today!
My baby dress
Pictures of Shayla as a baby are displayed through out the room in frames or with decorative clothespins. There are also pictures of daddy and myself as babies.
Bedding and pillows by my Mamaw!
Shayla's dresser was mine as a baby, Daddy refinished it

I love Joseph originals and I have a mama with baby for each child execpt Jonathan (still searching for the perfect one) :)
My mouth will speak the praise of the LORD, and all living creatures will praise his holy name forever and ever.

Ridiculously adorable! In some of the photos your daughter looks like a doll. I actually had to take a second look. =)

I can certainly understand that. I was that way after just the one boy coming first. I love those figurines too. I would always get the number ones on my birthday each year growing up. My mom saved them & bought my daughter one special one of her own when she was born & then has given her mine each year as part of her special birthday gifts.

I don't think I have ever seen such an adorable room in my life!
It is perfect, I love it so much.
Now I need a grandaughter so I can make her a pretty room like this.
Have a blessed weekend.

It's delightful, Tesha. What time and blessing you birthed in Shayla's room. It all spells l-o-v-e. I like how you used the flowered curtains for the bottom of the curtains. And the pillows are just so inviting and adorable. Love the dresser with its pink drawers and the clothesline with dresses.

What a sweet and adorable room. Your beautiful Shayla must love it! I would have loved a room as a kid, even now I would love a room like this. I don't think my hubby would like it too much, but I would. You did a great job decorating it. You're such a wonderful mom. I hope you're having a great day!

Tesha, what an adorable and beautiful room for your little girl! I'm sure it's been so fun for you to play with PINK after so much BLUE! ;)

You have a gift for decorating. My mom and I love it as well. Shayla's room reminds me of my mine as a little girl. A room fit for a sweet princess. :)

Much love and hugs,

My 3 year old would loooove that room! I had the same "Velveteen Rabbit" edition when I was a kiddo. It's in my daughter's room now, too.
