Goodbye Pismo, Hello Big Sur

On our last day in Pismo. We ate our favorite restaurant, Splash Cafe and did some shopping.
Then we had a BLAST playing with the kids in the pool. We finished our day with dinner and a little walk.

Tuesday we headed North on the California Coast to Big Sur. I have been waiting to see this part of the coast for years and it was so exciting to finally be on the journey. True we did have quite a bit of fog and I did get slightly car sick from the windy mountain but it was still breathtaking and beautiful.
Elephant seal seen from a coastal viewing area in a natural reserve.
We stopped at the Big Sur Lodge to take a walk and see the Redwood trees and river.

Bless the Lord, O my soul! O Lord my God, you are very great! You are clothed with splendor and majesty, covering yourself with light as with a garment, stretching out the heavens like a tent. He lays the beams of his chambers on the waters; he makes the clouds his chariot; he rides on the wings of the wind; he makes his messengers winds
Psalm 104:1-35
