Harvester Homecming

We recently had our Harvesters Homecoming, when all the pastors come home to preach conference. I Love this time of year and the refreshing that comes through the messages. I can't believe how God worked out the timing of Julian's birth. I specifically asked him that I would somehow be able to go to the marriage retreat and Harvesters Homecoming. Julian was born the week after the marriage retreat and the week before Harvesters. I had lots of energy and was filled with joy as I went to the services with my sweet little bundled. After I did need a few days to rest and recover:)
My husband did an awesome job preaching! All the sermons spoke to my heart and encouraged me. We are really excited for a new season and God to do a new work in our church.
I could not stop smiling and looking at my precious new baby my heart really felt like it was bursting with joy.
My big boys had a blast seeing all their friends and cousins that are also pastors kids. It is like a big family reunion!
I thank my God every time I remember you. In all my prayers for all of you, I always pray with joy because of your partnership in the gospel

A Precious Jewel

We have been adjusting to life with a newborn. I have to say my crew does not like to hear their baby brother cry. That means every time he makes a sound someone is close by to come to his rescue...I am thinking as sweet as this is it might lead to one spoiled little baby. Seriously I don't believe you can spoil a newborn and I am very much a mommy that believes in attachment parenting. I would hold this little guy all day if at all possible. I try to enjoy every moment with him because I know these precious days are fleeting so even as I type this he is cuddled warmly on my chest.
Just look at the delight Shayla has in cuddling him. She only asks to hold him about a hundred times a day:)
So what kind of baby is Julian? He is a jewel, as his nickname "little Jewels" proclaims. He is seriously so very sweet. He sleeps well and has peaceful little spirit. We are so blessed!

Every good and perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of the heavenly lights, who does not change

Julian Comes Home

We had a two day hospital stay, during which I was struggling with quite a bit of pain. Happily by the day we left the pain was resolved and I was feeling pretty good. Oh yes and EXTREMELY joyful ( as these pictures show:)
Julian was checked by the pediatrician and was declared very healthy, his weight when we left was 5lbs 11oz.
Yes, I was pretty much on cloud 9 as they wheeled me out with my sweet baby boy. I though I might feel sad knowing the last time I left the hospital was with empty arms, without Jonathan... But you know what I just felt pure joy and thankfulness. All I can say that it was the grace of God and his peace that surpasses understanding.

Shout for joy, you heavens; rejoice, you earth; burst into song, you mountains! For the LORD comforts his people and will have compassion on his afflicted ones.

Julian Meets His Family

All the kids were so excited to meet their new Baby Brother!!!
Shayla was the first to snatch up sweet Julian. Yes she was pretty much was in Heaven and still is every time I place his warm little body in her arms. She kept telling me how much she loved him:)
 Jesse was pretty smitten also:)
My big boy and baby boy...really their both my babies:)
JoJo was not sure what to think, he was a little overwhelmed by our new little guy.
We are all so in LOVE!

When a woman is giving birth, she has sorrow because her hour has come, but when she has delivered the baby, she no longer remembers the anguish, for joy that a human being has been born into the world.
John 16:21
