Today was a day of mixed emotions. We are moving from our Church building to a new one. The change came pretty suddenly and today was our last service at our Venice location. We have been there 8 years. It was a really good service and people gave testimony about the church and what it has meant to them.
Everyone is really excited about the move and we all see it as a good thing--but still it's sad to leave the place that has been our Church home for the last eight years.
Our kids have grown up there...we built the walls and labored over the building...we believed God for big and mighty things there...We saw salvation's and peoples lives transformed there...Prayer meetings, bible studies, revivals, discipleship class, outreach concerts so many memories are there...We all grew closer to Jesus there.

The boys spent the day moving, working, setting up sound equipment today. In fact they just walked thru the door at 10:30 pm... Already a labor of love invested into our new Church home. We plan to meet the neighborhood this Saturday with outreach. We are baking 1000+ cookies to hand out with flyer's and invitations. We are really excited to see all that God will do in our "New" building we definitely have room to grow and I believe WE WILL! God's timing is as always perfect, we can trust him with our future!
For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says the Lord, thoughts of peace and not of evil, to give you a future and a hope.
Unless the LORD builds the house, the builders labor in vain.
