Jimmy's East Coast Trip

Oh My goodness I have been so busy finishing our school year that blogging has been impossible, but the good news is we are just a few days away from the last meeting with our teacher. I am shouting praises for summer!!! I know I will be back to blogging soon and wanted to throw in this picture post before the school year ends:)

Recently Jimmy had an awesome opportunity to go to the East Coast with our Church High School. He had an amazing time and learned so much! His travels included Washington DC, Boston, New York, Charleston West Virgina, Pennsylvania and more they saw SOOO much stuff. He loved the opportunity and had so many great stories to tell us. Our favorite was how he stayed up all night on a twelve hour car ride with Pastor Rob. Jimmy got to ask Pastor Rob so many questions about life and he got great advice, he even took notes LOL! Pastor Rob is a History Major and he gave all the kids a history quiz and Jimmy tied for first...I was a pretty proud homeschooling mommy when I heard that!
They got the opportunity to vista some of our fellowship Churches. Jimmy's band played a concert at one Church and Jimmy was asked to give a testimony at another. It is so encouraging to see young people desire to serve Jesus!
Mark Twain's House
Boston
Jimmy had fun in New York...He loved Wall Street and had funny stories about how him and a friend tried to check out the shops in Trump Towers and got thrown out.

George Washington's House
We are so blessed to belong to a wonderful church family that put priority on kids!

Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly, teaching and admonishing one another in all wisdom, singing psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, with thankfulness in your hearts to God

What a lucky guy, those are places I haven't been yet! The pictures are awesome and I love the reenactment of the statue.
