The Great Outdoors

Part of my new homeschool mantra is to educate outside and to take as many opportunities as possible to learn in nature. So many questions arise when we are outside it is easy to have many hours of study just from the questions that the glorious world inspires. It can be a difficult, stressful day but the moment we get outside we forget the troubles we all smile and laugh and enjoy each other. We are so blessed to have a few homeschooling friends that makes these adventures even more wonderful! I feel a renewed joy and confidence in our homeschool experience!

The most effective kind of education is that a child should play among lovely things. Plato

"But ask the animals, and they will teach you, or the birds of the air, and they will tell you; or speak to the earth, and it will teach you, or let the fish of the sea inform you. Which of all these does not know that the hand of the LORD has done this? In his hand is the life of every creature and the breath of all mankind. Job 12:7

That is a great quote by Plato! And fantastic pictures. Getting outside is so good for us Mama's too. We're trying to do it more too. :)

I think it is so awesome that you are getting out of the house with the kids. These are days they will always remember. I love getting out of the house! It can be so refreshing.
